The whole season Duke had been OVERRATED...they have a weak frontline....Their frontline includes Parker (6'8 235) & Jefferson (6'9 210)....that's WEAK!
Compare that to the front line of Tennessee....Stokes (6'8 260) & Maymon (6'8 260)
Lets look at the frontline of Mercer....Coursey (6'10 220) & Thomas (6'6 200)
Are you kidding me dude?? Tenn's frontline has got 100 lbs....Mercer will be in serious FOUL TROUBLE....Guaranteed!
Especially since their backup Center Monty Brown (6'11 250) won't be available.

Also, I agree with ya Tenn didn't give a garbage about the NIT....they were PISSED they didn't make the tourney......PLUS, Maymon didn't even play in that game. Now they're gonna have 2 6'8 260 bodies in the paint.
In that NIT game....the offensive rebound count was 19 to 6....with Stokes having TWELVE of the 19 rebounds....that's ridic!
And now Tenn is playing for something....on a HOT STREAK!
Tenn wins this game no matter what.

That's very true.....take for example the Eastern Kentucky-Kansas game.....Eastern Kentucky used a 4 guard with 1 Center lineup.....because their guards can SHOOT! That's why they were able to hang around....but in the end Kansas pulled away because they were the more athletic, stronger team and got EKU in foul trouble.
I can't see Mercer shooting the ball and going lights out on Tenn....especially with Tenn being way more physical than Duke.

This is exactly what the hotels n vegas and the linemakers' vacations are bankrolled on. People like the squares in thread saying no way tennesse gets beat.. listen...tennessee had to win 2 games n the sec tourney just to get in the ncaa...and the play-in at that. Anything can happen and either
team could win by 20, I realize that....but...u r not successfully experienced at this if u say there's "no way" mercer wins because theyre smaller. Lets remember. Theres a reason tennessee couldn't get n the top 25 playing in the HORRIBLE SEC!!!!!!! They have serious flaws. Duke had flaws. And Mercer's 7 seniors surically hammered those flaws. I think thsyll do the same tomoro. Theres something to be said for knowing EXACTLY where the 2-guard will be on a high pick n roll with ur eyes closed....because you've played every day for 4 years. The tourney is about guard play and always will be. Doesnt mean bigs don't make a difference...but...if you've seen mercer play a lot as I have being from georgia u know EXACTLY how good their guards are and athletic Muamu is. Like I said....Mercer had their upset win...that was lovely....against Tenn it won't happen.
Games are about MATCHUPS....and Mercer does NOT matchup well with Tenn......Tenn's guards are great too....you ever heard of a guy named Jordan McRae?
The difference here is the frontcourt.....Mercer's frontline will be in serious foul trouble and won't be able to stop Stokes or Maymon.
Check out these stats from last year's game, and look at TENN's OFFENSIVE REB count.....and keep in mind MAYMON didn't even play in that game.
