You're probably right. But STL has been getting all of the A-10 props to this point in the season. Dayton's certainly no roll-over. Johnson playing? I have no idea. Didn't look into it.

They haven't played this year that I am aware of. Defense wins this game. SDSTU lookahead to Oakland (as dumb as it sounds, that's the game they want). This is NDSU's title game.

Can you elaborate? Why would South Dakota State w/ a week off, lookahead to a game 5 days away, when NDSt is in 3rd place with a 6-2 record, while Oakland has a 5-4 record in conference?
Wouldn't SDSt simply be focused for both games? It's been 7 games since their last game, and Oakland is 4 days later.

Defense should win this game. The look ahead means nothing in the grand scheme of things, but it's an added bonus. focus more on the match ups, and how each team will defend the other.

That was kind of my point, Odds. I didn't know that 10* is his biggest play, though I guess I haven't seen one bigger from him. It was just funny that he had the list out right of the bat and everybody was then still speculating on what it would be, then some people jumped to call NDST the GOY. Just a bit funny. But good luck on the play guys.

First, immense respect for your picks and write-ups. But your POY has me puzzled after reading. South DSt. is 7-1 in Summit conference. They've beaten some decent D-1/A teams like Washington. By 15 or so on the road. They're led by some upperclassmen.
And, South DSt. beat Oakland by 15 or so earlier this year (so makes me curious what the revenge angle could possibly be).
Normally, I've seen Shakespearian monologues for even 1* stars plays from you (like last night). So the dearth of anything for a POY other than a brief reference to lookaheads and matchups seems unusual for you.
I know this is a hobby and the fact that you share your picks is appreciated. But if u have time for more analysis on this game, it'd be great.
