He told everyone that it was his GOY and no one else's. Further, he never claimed it was a lock or anything of that nature. If you lost on it, that is your own problem for not doing your own research.

do your own research people. Dont hammer the guy becaues he lost his poy. He didnt make you bet this game nor did he tell you how much to bet. If you dont know anything about the two shit teams playing thats your own fault. I looked at his pick and had no info on that game myself of didnt cap it myself so I stayed away. Win or lose. Do your homework that way you cant blame anyone but yourself for plays.

These are great posts!!! You would have to be a degenerate gambler to follow a POY on North Dakota State!!! He's still a great handicapper who just made a terrible pick. I'm not sure they ever led in this game. He will come back with picks on teams that he's actually ever seen play a basketball game. Go get them, we'll still follow!!!

I was referring to him posting "POY#1" on a Friday night...with no play...trying to round up as many sheep as he could....then posting his "POY#1" Saturday after 5 pages of sheep gathered together...only to see the "POY#1" lose.....and countless sheep get slaughtered..

LMMFAO. I knew when I came home and saw that N. Dakota St lost, this thread would have a lot of posts... but 15 pages!?! 366 posts?!?! We're talking about one game here. One game.

NDSt gave up 76 in regulation. That's awful defense.
SDSU had an upperclassmen led team. SDSU had just gotten better recently. They used to stink b/c they moved up from D-II. But this year they were pretty good. They'd lost to NDS for the last 10 years or so including last year's blowout by 24. That's pretty strong motivation.
All these factors, but I kept thinking nropp must know something shrewd that I did, b/c let's face it, he's a better capper than me.
Harsh lesson for me personally. Never tail a big play unless I agree w/ the reason why.

Slaughtered sheep here, went 7-1 on an if bet. Guess what my first pick was that cancelled all the other ones? You guessed it, ND St.
I'm laughing now cause it was not a bankroll breaker, but morale of the story is trust your plays only. Would i feel better if I saw his bet slip? Yeah, but the damage is done, however slight. It's my own fault for tailing.
No more. It's my first year betting college bb, but not my first year betting. I should've known better, but I was rushing out on Saturday night. The thought of it being an in-state rival crossed my mind and then no real-write-up, but I fell for it. I just wish it was my number 8 bet, not my number 1.
Trust yourself, do not tail. I'm bitching a bit, but I feel better.
