Red Wolves in the fold

Dismal day yesterday but we soldier on:

Arkansas State -4.5: First D-1 home game for the Red Wolves, first road game period for Jax State. Ark St. expected to be a top team in the Sun Belt this season, did reasonably well on the road, picking up a couple of wins and giving St. Mary's a good battle. Think they come home here and roll Jax by 12-14 points. Going a full unit on this puppy.

Florida Gulf Coast -11: It's a home tournament game for the high-flying Eagles and I think they put a beatdown on this Oral team expected to finish in the basement of the Summit League. 0.75 units.

Well that was an OK day ... Easy wins with Arkie State and Bill & Mary, unfortunately FGCU didn't take it seriously until too late, they get their win but I don't get my cover. Still 2-1 and plus 1.25 unit for the day. (But a dismal 11-17 YTD )

In addition, the Rangers get the win over St. Louis 3-2.

San Fran on cusp of beating Carolina, so the Buccaneers would hold on to first in NFC South. And Mayfield's injury not as serious as feared.
