The formula is now 6-4.
The Def Eff is now 11-1 with the only loss was Harvard.
BYU Def Eff was not lower than Marq (BYU-25, Marq-19)

I just think that stat is just crazy. For the 7pm games:

WichitaSt (18)   VCU (26)

I feel like an idiot.  I just now got what you are talking about.  I thought you were putting it into your formula and reworking the formula.  I am even more impressed.   Damn, I really used poor money management.

I wonder if this will continue into the next round.  Also KGC has all of them, NIT, he extracted only the teams playing in the NCAA.  I'm amazed you found it and really surprised nobody seems to be responding.

WOW! Of the 8 DefEff plays that are same as formula plays, 5 are currently over 70% of picks on Covers Consensus.

Hmmmmmm?

Nice Stats work here. I noticed that when there is a big discrepancy in Def Eff (not just every time one team hasd a lower one), the lower team has won straight up.

So, for today:

Mich. St.
Virginia
Missouri
Florida St.
UNC
Alabama
USF
Georgetown
Kansas
Maybe SD St.

These are the formula plays for today. I will admit I'm a little nervous on how good yesterday turned out. This formula also loved Cal and they got their shit pushed in. These games are a lot closer today, so that is why there are more dogs in today's picks. The games with the biggest margin in the formula is Mizz, Belmont, Mich St, ans FSU. Good luck to all

Where are these stats from? What's your source?

I looked at another website for defenseive efficiency, and there numbers for about 80% of the teams are similar, but there are huge differences on others.

It 16-4 if you count the first round.  Two of the four SYR and Kentucky would be great for point shaving given their ability and high spread.
