Sharp I appreciate the plays and insight, and understand why you'd be pissed at the people bitching. But what did you expect? Look around the forums, and 80-90% of the people here lose their asses on a daily basis from their own dumbass logic. You come around and are running hot so they tail you and you miss 2 games. So instead of blaming themselves like they normally would, they can blame you. Man it comes with the territory and I don't blame you if your done with Covers. The last thing any of us needs is to deal with people after we lose. I went 4-1 yesterday, but I don't post my picks because I could care less what the squares around here think. TBH I fade most of the people on this site and win money because of it. You on the other hand are someone I follow and hopefully will continue to. Keep your chin up.

It's interesting to see the doubters come out when a man loses one or two, Steven (Sharp). All I can say is this... you ARE a good capper and your record proves it. Nobody wins em all but to do more than not is a good deal. As others have stated, if you're going to blindly tail someone you better do it every game because one game (or two) doesn't mean shit... it's over the long haul that tailing a solid capper becomes profitable. It's always the same thing... guys looking for the one time big hitter to score big instead of consistent plays to build. I've been hitting REALLY well lately til this last weekend (and I don't tail anyone... just look for info in threads to help build my picks that I'm already leaning towards) and then between Saturday and Sunday got my ass handed to me. I'm sure that makes you happy but whatever... point is that it happens to everyone at some time or another. If you enjoy posting your picks then do it... seems like quite a few people with no capping ability of their own here rely on you and I'm sure they'd be upset if you hit the bricks. Me? Doesn't matter to me if you stay or leave... I see your threads just like everyone elses but do put a little more stock into something when I see several good cappers on a game or on the other side. Bottom line is this... haters always pile on when you lose a couple.. it's inevitable. This entire post might surprise you but what you may not realize is that I do respect your capping ability and think you make some pretty smart picks usually but that has nothing to do with the reason you and I don't see eye to eye. As a person I despise you but as a capper you have my respect and a loss or two won't make you any less respectable in that area.... on the personal side I couldn't respect you less, but I have the ability to separate "work and play" and shoot straight. Anyways, if they don't like your picks they don't have to take em... you're not forcing anyone to play. I say anyone who has problems with you losing a pick has only one possible response coming to them... Fuck em.

I have been around covers for a while now (way before 2010) i remember one of the best cappers axpiota who used to post nothing but winners on a weekly basis and even he stop posting cause of the bullshit. Its all because they tail and want to win on a daily basis......in gambling you have to be in it for the long haul. Either you wait till the week is over and see where you are at or even wait at the end of the month and count your earnings and your losses and with good money management tailing someone who knows what hes doing you should be up. If you dont want to tail someone im going to give you a formula where you can at least figure out some numbers persuading you where to put your money. This comes from another capper so dont ask me what to do and how to cap. I figure out my own plays on angles, spots, back to back, injuries etc and yes i have tailed cappers here too. I have never bitch and blame nobody when i lose. I do crunch some numbers here and there but not anything special.
You pretty much take the strength of schedule, divide them, get the average point scored for both teams and points against, take the difference in strength of schedule added to the team with the harder scedule and subtract it from the other team.You take that number and multiply it against the other teams average points for. Then u should build a 4 point extra for the home team. If you see a difference in the spread compared to the real spread of 5 or greater u then u should take the play.
There, u guys who are fustrated cause you lost a couple games there is your formula. See if you can do better and you can even post your plays and see your results. Try it, this way you can bitch in your own thread. One thing i can pass on to those who are crying like a bunch of babies at the maternity ward is to make a sound wager you have to do alot of reading to gather info on the game.
The thing is if you tail, tail one guy that you like and him only. Some of you guys tail one day then switch to another when the other loses a game. Thats why you should at least wait a week ( 7 days) before bitching.

The good thing about twitter is that if you follow someone on twitter, they can send you texts straight to your cell phone or other mobile device. You don't even have to sign-in online to twitter.. All you have to do is get a twitter account, find sharpstick or whoever else you want to follow, sign-up for twitter to send updates to your mobile device, and then click the option for them to send that particular poster to your phone. Then they send you the update and you never have to check twitter. If you don't have texting on your phone, you can get it for about $20/ month and it is well worth it..
