Nropp don't mean any disrespect here at all but you say don't really like much BUT you have a few 1unit plays today. Does this mean that you are just playing for some action tonight and you really don't feel that strong about these 3 plays? Just trying to figure out wether or not to lay off tonight. Respect your picks just don't want to play just any games!

Let me rephrase...I feel strong enough value to make three small plays, I don't really like to make bigger plays on a small card with many big names. I'd much rather look at a 150 game card with the not-so-familiar names on it.
I don't really feel differently about these 1 unit plays than any 1 unit play I've risked all year.

Nropp I know you are not a fan of laying a lot of chalk, but lets just say that you were....Do you like Wichita St -19 over Drake? From what I have looked at Wichita should be able to beat them by 20 at home at least 6 out of 10 tries. Wich also has a revenge factor from the DD loss at Drake last year. Thanks for the hard work!

Like the revenge factor, hate laying that many points within any conference. Familiarity of teams/coaches is enough to shy away.

Thats all I needed to hear. Beginning to understand that I should be looking for reasons not to bet instead of forcing reasons to make a bet. I am seeing alot of successful cappers on the OhioSt/Iowa over. But both teams play good defense and at a relatively slow pace. Would you lean over?

Iowa's been running quite a bit more than what I'm used to, and I need to see a few more conference games from Ohio State until I believe that Matta wants to run and gun in the Big Ten. McCaffrey brought his Siena run-and-gun over, but this team is not built for it quite yet with the current roster. They don't have much size, and McCaffrey's been able to hide that fact in some non-conference games. I can't believe he's going to try and continue to push the pace with this current group and expect to win games. Lately, defensively, it looks like they've shown signs of using a press and zone, and it's slowed down the game. I'm thinking if he wants to slow down Sullinger, he might want to use the zone and pack it in to slow the game, but if that happens, then Ohio State has shooters galore. Really a lose-lose I think. Iowa program is definitely headed in the right direction, but it's going to take a year or two before they're competitive in the conference I think.
I'd probably lean under but it's more based on Coach Matta in prior instances rather than McCaffrey. Can't quite get a feel or understanding of what he's doing.

Neil - Great job as usual. I know you stay away from chalk..but for some reason I cant stay away from CSU -9.5 tonight. Everything I see points to them in a runaway...League opener. Home Court. Last game a tough loss to a good Hampton team. A weak shooting banged up Wyoming. Maybe the travel back to Colorado is the only thing I can see as a negative.
I noticed Dickie V was writing about the Rams in his weekly take on CBB. And of course they lose the next time out...perfect situation for Miles to lay into the team about dont believe what you read....I think they respond with a good effort. They dont need to save anything. NM is 8 days from now. What am I missing on the Rams tonight?
