GONZAGA:
5 losses on the year- Memphis, UConn , Utah, Portland St, Arizona
Loss vs Memphis- Pargo 2pts, Bouldin 6pts, Heytvelt 11 pts
Loss to Uconn- okay they hung in their, Uconn was shitting in the bed. 4 players with double digits and they still lose. Not bc of Thebeet but bc Uconn shot 50% from behind the arc
Loss to Utah- again 3 players in DD and they still lose to Utah. Zaga shot 15% from 3 land...not good
Loss to Portland ST- 4 players in DD and the come up short again (back to back losses with Utah) Jeremiah Domiequez drops 25 on Pargo....yikes! Zaga shot 7-19 from 3 land.
Loss to Arizona- Zaga 3 players DD two players with 21 pts and another with 22 pts... Zaga shot 70% from 3 land 44% from the field and 76% from the free throw line.....im still trying to figue out who was pt shaving. Looks like the bench didnt produce.
UNC is shotting 48% on the yr 38% from 3 land, and 76% from the line. They rank #2 in scoring in th enation. You know the rules we will run run run score 80+ and you try to catch us. The last matchup Zaga held Pshyco T to 9 pts. That wont happen tonight bet that prop if its on the board.
Several stats that stand out to me about Gonzaga...They rank 179 175,159 in 3 pointers allowed free throws allowed and rebounds allowed.
Not going to cut it imo. Especially when UNC is turning on all cylinders ala ACC's finest here baby...Diaper Dandies. Dont get me wrong UNC is not better in these catergories at all. The difference however is players avaiable to turn it up when the time is right. At any time UNC has 6 players who can play AT BOTH ENDS OF THE COURT. Strengh of schedule may play a huge part also in whos able to grind it out. I think Gonzaga's last 10 games makes them a lilttle soft even though they are here right now in the sweet 16. Other than Western Kty in the last ten games they are the only team that Gonzaga has played who that made it to the tourney.
