If there is one thing that I know, it&#x27;s to be careful of the "popular underdogs". The general public loves favorites so when you see an overwhelming majority on an underdog, you should tread lightly. The instance I am speaking of today is Florida State. I took a look at the line and immediately thought (as did most people) 12 seems like way too many. Now that I see plenty of people jumping on FSU, ill be taking the Dukies tonight, as much as it pains me to do so.

The line was to be expected.  When these teams played earlier this year at FSU, Duke was favored by 9.5. (Duke won by 8)  The scary part for me is that Vegas only gave the Dukies 2.5pts for HC advantage as compared to the line they set in Tallahassee about 7 weeks ago.

I agree with your general thought,&#xD;&#xA;tracked it for awhile and just like everything else, it is no sure fire way to figure out a game, it&#x27;s just one part in the whole

This yr popular dogs on Puke games:&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;BC= win&#xD;&#xA;Clemson= win&#xD;&#xA;Mia (pre NC game) =win&#xD;&#xA;Fla = ? &#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;I don&#x27;t know, I pretty much had them pegged. I hate them, and more important, hate having to watch them. But, sometimes, you know when to play against them. Like a defensive team, that is the game before NC. I save said this stat all day, they are 3-4 SU the past 4 yr pre NC games. So, if they win by 20, everyone can tell me they were right and now they are 4-4 SU and 3-5 ATS, but I like the match up and the place of the game in the schedule.&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;Also, Smith being out has a great reason for their to be extra $ on FSU. Compelling arguments. By no means am i declaring Duke a "lock" and of course FSU could come in tonight and keep it close if not win, thats why they play the games.

For one, i dont buy the "look-ahead" spot tonight mainly because it's Coach K's team and i cant see him allowing his players to fall victim of that. Secondly, it's senior night. Third, this is an important game for Duke in the sense of ACC/NCAA tourney seeding. This game could get away from FSU early if Douglas is not on his game. With all this being said, good luck to everyone tonight.
