Grand Canyon University is fully D1 and a member of the WAC conference (how far the WAC has fallen is an entirely different discussion)
I know the WAC has fallen into the category of one of those conferences where most games aren't lined (never understood that either) but usually when a team from a major conference is involved (St Mary's) a line is added to the board for the game.
Grand Canyon is 24-5 this season with wins over San Diego State, Houston, Marshall and Central Michigan. This team can really play. Also their coach is Dan Majerle and their mascot is an Antelope it really doesn't get better than that.
I had this game circled weeks ago as one that I thought ESPNU might pick up to show in the west coast slot and one I would have likely had a big play on Grand Canyon if they were a big enough dog. Really surprised that a major network inst picking up a match up in March between a 24-5 team and a 24-4 team but that theres no line offered anywhere on this. In my opinion this is the most intriging match up of the night!
I get a feeling that there isn't a lot of trust in GCU or how they operate. That university's "rise" has been somewhat cutthroat and greased with cash the entire way. It makes me wonder if books don't totally trust that everything they do is on the up and up. They may have to put in more dues before they are taken as seriously as everyone else......

I have said from day 1 that all picks are welcome here. But I just want to make sure that everyone gets that I only tracked the $$$$'s that adhere to the first post that opens the thread every day. I think its a pretty simple concept and I'm pretty sure everyone understands it by now. Lots of people post a $$$$ and then also their other plays. Every bit of information can be helpful, even if it the 3 smaller plays you are playing tonight.

@bk - Leicester left 2 points out there today. They can't do that at home vs. lesser teams and expect to with the title. Leaving the door open for the Arsenal/Tottenham winner......

Hey Holmey...any way you could make an updated post every now and then that says what you are considering as your tracked $$$$ plays...as people post them and as you track them?
I know you're a busy man so if you can't do that no worries.
I'm just trying to see the $$$$ plays but sometimes it's hard to decipher what is being tracked because people are also posting without write-ups or even with very little write-up.

relax that $$4 of the day dont mean nothing you have good solid plays and good writeups... that soccer play got lucky imo ill take your record and play your solid plays way b4 i play those soccer guesses let the pick records speak for them selfs im sure you will not see a soccer capper with a 50% record stay with the thread and kick behind records speak louder than words

I'm in shock that Leicester didn't win that match....agree Holmey cant do that and expect to hold off Tottenham and Arsenal....that was two points that could end up being the difference....

Honestly, I can't do more than I am doing. I think you guys can figure out what is a PICK and what is a $$$$. $$$$'s need to follow the parameters to be tracked. If the "writeup" consists of vague things like "they are hot" or "I like them at home" or "the are looking for revenge" or "they need this game" and nothing else of value, you probably know that I am not tracking it.
You guys see what the $$$$ posts looks like. And all of us can see who knows the teams they are picking and who is just trying to fill 4 or 5 lines with vague comments that could be about any game.
I am pretty lenient about what I track, but if there is literally no significant information that is exclusive to the teams involved in the $$$$, then I am not going to track it. I bet most of you can guess each day which ones are being tracked and which ones aren't.
Sorry I can't do more, but I am not even online or on my phone for 75% of each day. I am just trying to catch up all the time. No way I can stay out in front of it in that manner. At the beginning, when I am trying to help everyone understand how to make $$$$ posts, I would mention a post that I was not going to track, but 90% of the time, the person I told that their $$$$ post wasn't being tracked, wouldn't even respond or re-post their $$$$, so I just kinda gave that up.

Thanks man. I appreciate it. I have been doing this for a long time (over on CBS), and the truth is that the more people and eyes that show up here, the more issues that follow. The CBS thread used to get about 10 times the traffic we are getting here, and the issues were MUCH worse. I predict things will get bumpier here too, but, don't worry, I'm used to it lol.
