New Mexico St has only played one true road game, and it was a loss to Abilene Christian. This is a hell of a distance to travel to play a conference game, but thats the idiocracy we live in. A 12pm local tip is a 10am tip in the minds and bodies of the Aggies, who are still adjusting to the time change. Sleepy spot.
1* Merrimack Warriors -3.5
The Mack returns home after nearly a month away from the home gym. They are unbeaten in conference this far, and are doing it with defense. The Warriors force the longest offensive possessions in the country, and turn their opponents over nearly 20% of the time. Mount St Marys is coming off a huge win at home vs Iona, and I don't think they can do that two games in a row. Certainly not on the road.
1* Canisius Golden Griffins +7.5
This line opened at 4.5 which made sense to me, but now that its been steamed to 7.5, I have to jump on the Griffs. They haven't played in two weeks, so the rust factor is certainly there, but they are also playing at home for the first time in a month, and that will certainly help our cause. The strength of the Fairfield offense is its perimeter shooting, but that plays into the strength of Canisius' defense (81st in 3pt% defense).
