Fouling Up by 3 concept

The whole point of fouling up by 3 is so they do not get a last second shot under 5 -10 seconds ....Teams nowadays are fouling up by 3 with like 15-20 sounds left and teams barely inbound the ball and no time is running off...They foul so early is doing the losing team a favor and then in return the team winning cannot even make Ft's when they are fouled or turn the ball over making it a moot point.....Its so retarded now..So much extra points are scored because of this and teams are losing games...Play it out and foul only if under 5-8 seconds..WTF is foiling with 20-30 seconds left up by 3......

 110% on the money on this! A close second, although it doesn't affect the game quite as much, is having like 4 fouls with 20 seconds left in the first half and these teams are fouling like I got to get 5 and 6 before the end of the half and they treat them like use them or lose them.  I can see maybe under 5 seconds so then the team on O only has 5 seconds to get into their shot, but not one at 20 seconds and 16 seconds just for the hell of it.
