No upshaw in wash anymore. You obviously think that this won't affect their chances of covering. Do you think Gilles will be able to come in and put up double digit points and rebounds?

Love your picks but just curious with the dude above, Upshaw being dismissed from the team doesn't worry you a little about Washington? They seem to get rattled easily from the games that I've watched and losing the best shot blocker in the nation in Upshaw is a pretty big loss. Still gonna play it if you think it doesn't matter cause winning on the road in the pac 12 is usually difficult but just wondering what your take on that is.

By the way, thank you for posting so early. I don't expect that every day but it's really appreciated when you're out in front of the day's action like that.

    Just a simple question...

How do you make Washington your largest play when they have not proven to be able to prevail without Upshaw which is the center core of their in/out game along with no one to pick up the slack on the boards?

    Just a simple answer:

In sport...and specifically wagering on sports...gamblers will tell you it is a good to wager to take a home dog, in conference play, who lost their best player to either injury or in this case kicking a bad apple off the team. The theory is that these guys want to prove they are better without the "star". That's why. Of course if you want to use this one game as your reason why it is not a good play so be it...I will continue to play on teams in situations like this. I liked the pick and would play it again every day of the week.

    Good post.

Hoping the Huskies don't loose by more than 8. last leg of my teaser. Gonna hope for that 10 point lead to go down to 6 or 7 and then live bet hedge out of it.

Don't agree with your logic in the slightest but thanks for answering.

These types of games are games you stay away from especially with a bad shooting team like Washinton that loses their inside presence. Just my opinion. Good luck with tour futures situations like this one....

Buddy. You don't get it. These are the games you bet. These situations will win more than they lose. Christ almighty..Stanford is shooting 54% from 3 point land. The chances of that happening again on the road is slim and none. This is a situation play...look it up. I have seen numerous threads called "star player out" threads. This is not being pulled out of thin air. Of course you can disagree. Professional gamblers will tell you it is a good angle.

Here's one for you. Why don't you just stay out of his thread if you don't agree with the play. I absolutely would make this wager 100 times over because the situation presented itself.
