Will Tommy Morrison get another title shot?

Tonight Tommy Morrison (48-3-1)43kos  will fight a 8 round bout with Corey Williams in Laramie, Wyoming of all places.  We all know that Morision is now in the over 40 club and with his long layoff due to his positive hiv testing gotta figure he is broke and fighting club fighters to make ends meat.  My question is do his promoters see a title fight within the next year? He has the name that people know so mabe a couple of people will show up to watch. I suppose he still has some power because thats the last thing to go. So do you guys see him getting a shot in this weak heavyweight division?

No way. They (Nevada, anywhere) wouldn't sanction it. Now if he fought Iron Mike... maybe.

Met him a couple months ago at a boxing benefit in Los Angeles. He certainly did not come across as being broke. And while he turned 40 a few weeks ago, he likely has less mileage on him than others in your 'club.' Also according to him he was never HIV positive. He indicated that he had an immune deficiency unrelated to HIV. That being said, I don't think he gets a title shot either.

Well Morrison won in a 1st round ko aganist  corey williams last night. A left right combo knocked williams out cold. So whats next for tommy? Morrison had to overcome alot of obstacles from the media and the ringside doctors association just to get this club fight in wyoming. Morrision looked to be in great shape, but no one is going to give him a chance at a big pay day.
