You definitely weren't alone in having the "the big fight loser" bite you tonight. I thought about something after the fight, has any fighter made more money then Oscar in mega fights without ever having his hand raised as a winner? Nope and it's not even close....Trinidad, Mosley I, Mosley II, Hopkins, Mayweather, and now Manny. Six huge fights, six losses. Some would make the case that the Vargas grudge match was a mega fight, but he was already damaged leftovers courtesy of Tito. He has made a ton of money for losing those six and you have to think that his career will always be looked at as him being popular with the casual fan, a big time money maker, and a big fight loser.
