Fight margin less than 3 pts end rnd 3 |
The second part is less than 3, +135
Typical Bodog, Max 250... I'll lay the max here thinking that the vet and Mayweather Sr's fightplan figure out how to win one of the first three rounds.
Shane Mosley vs Ricardo Mayorga
Both boxers must answer opening bell for wager to have action. $250 max bet. Any KO before round 4 graded as 3+ , Harold Lederman's scorecard is offical for grading purposes.
Again, another value play. Don't like it as much as the Forbes prop, but will lay a hundred that Ricardo actually wins a round before losing focus and getting KO'd later... wouldn't shock me if it actually takes several rounds for Mosley to find his range and tame Mayorga's bull rush with jabs and counters. We might have Mayorga all wrong when we think we know everything about this slugger... he is actually taking fighting seriously again. Well, maybe for the first time. Someone with that type of chin and power can be dangerous if they ever learn even basic defense. He finally seems hungry and I'm not sure about Mosley anymore.
Last play is Forbes +8.5 points on Lederman's card. Let's face it - if it goes to the cards Forbes will manage to win two rounds. Even if he is knocked down he would only have to win 3, so I'll roll the dice at -160. Little less chalk than a GTD bet. 240/160 here.
I think it has become obvious that Forbes is the new tomato can that can give you solid rounds without any threat. However, he still has the experience and trainer to pull one out against a green prospect/is he there yet fighter in Berto. Too bad he doesn't have any other advantage to even make me consider the Forbes on points prop.
