I read reports that De La Hoya was guaranteed at least $15 million for the fight.

The guy needed to assure his future before retiring for good.

minimum 15 million. Probably closer to 20-25.

and it was 24 minutes of work. 8 rounds x 3 minutes per round.

Well, I am counting in between rounds, and when he made entrance to ring.

I would think after the revenue share for PPV buys Oscar is looking at around 20 mill. A lot of money for another mega fight loss.

Manny's sparring partners worked harder than Oscar.

So training for the last 3 months doesn't factor how much he made?

Does anyone buy that fight was the least bit real at all?

One of the fighters in the ring is also promoting the thing!

Oscar was completely weight drained and in horrible condition heading into this fight. He was way overtrained by nacho, blame nacho if your gonna blame anyone for that lackluster performance in the ring.
