boxing has been on its way out for a very long time and this fight, if u can call it that, has just put the nail in the coffin...

And a liquored up asshole does the postfights interviews....thats great, Merchant is worth the 60 bones.

for anyone to say mma is going to pass boxing in popularity has no idea what they are talking about, that's like comparing rugby to the NFL, the top mma guys get paid, 3 to 4 hundred thousand per fight, if floyd and manny fight they will get 50 million each, It's not even close, in 20 years things could be different, the average boxing fan is 35 years of age and over, while with mma it's 35 and under. mma has better marketing right now and some people are lead to beleive that it's more popular than boxing, while it is simply not true and in reality not even close.
