PPV Undercard Thoughts

Looks like there's gonna be 3 fights on the tv undercard lineup for tonight - 2 10 rounders and 1 12 rounder for a vacant belt.  Not terribly interesting lines on any of them

Junior Featherweights
Bernabe Concepcion (-600) (25-1-1, with 14 KOs) vs Adam Carrera (+400) (19-3, with 8 KOs)

Junior Welters
Alvarado (-1500) (21-1, 14 KOs) vs Bazan (+800) (48-10-1, with 31 KOs)

Junior Flys
Segura (-600) (19-0-1, 15 KOs) vs Canchila (+400) (26-1, with 21 KOs)


I don't see a lot of value, except the under in the Segura fight which is set at 7.5

Anybody else feeling a live dog on the undercard?

Concepcion is impressive.  He's got a ridiculous physique for super bantam weight.  I can't believe the upper and lower body definition on him at 108 pounds.  We'll see him again.  I'm a fan.

After 3 rounds, I've got Alvarado up 2-1, and while there's been hard clean punching, no one's been hurt.

Alvarado with an impressive KO in the 4th.  After landing cleanly but not seeming to hurt Bazan, he hurt him bad there, and Bazan quit.

2-0 on the night.

Next up - Segura vs Canchila  - I'm on the UNDER 7.5 here.

Any hope for an all-knockout undercard?!?  Sweet.

This was supposed to be my easiest under of the night, and Segura has faded HARD.  Looks like this was the live dog.

And then, Segura has his best round in a half hour in the 8th.  This thing is as tight as it can be for a 5-1 favorite.  The whole undercard was strong tonight.

Finished up 2-1 on the undercard.  Ended up going with the under in all 3.

For the main event

Cotto 2 units to win by KO - +325
1 unit Under 9.5 - +180
2 units Cotto to win - -210
