Al.Po is nearly qualified for "my boy" status. But what is he???
CB was deft at what he did, and for a while he was a tough match-up as the only Southpaw Heavyweight w/ nimble Hands. But he's bulked-up, slowed down, got hit a lot more for it, and has grown old.
I'm not dead sure what Al.Po is or is not? I've seen all of his fights, he's got quick Hands, and they are heavier than you would expect for his former regulation Heavyweight size (i.e. not super-sized CCCP Heavy of today). But I've never seen his Chin checked; and we don't let know where his Stamina threshold lies (only been past 6 once)???
So it remains to be seen if Al.Po is the real-deal, or not? But he is catching CB at the right time.

As a follow up. What I mean is this.....both CB & Ruiz, won. They won with less than electrically crowd pleasing styles however. So both tried to morph themselves into what the people wanted. This has gone poorly for both, but worse for Chris Byrd, as he started out at a buck69; & just does not have the volume of mass to absorb real Heavyweight shots for more than a couple of Rounds. Hence, while I do admire & will praise the formerly surgically precise tactical side to CB, I've not seen that side for a while, and therefore view those days as now only visible in CB's rear-view mirror.

Nice break down. I like Povetkin too. But I wonder what a good value bet is in this. I like chalk, but not sure about -600 for this one. I'm thinking Povetkin by decision...But Povetkin is young, hungry, and looking to shine and move on to fight the eliminator for Wlad...So a late TKO is a fair chance too IMO.

I agry. But lets see the pay-line on those Al.Po. outcome Props first. Might take him some time to get Byrd out. Wlad did not get Byrd out right away & Wlad surely hits harder than Al.Po. Byrd kan't repetitively take major impacts, is he's not exactly chickenS in there either, he'll take a few shots b4 he gets beat.
