Penn v. Pulver... Pulver getting +300???

Are you serious?  I cant believe Pulver is getting this price.  Penn hasn't finished off a fight in almost 3 years and I'm sure his mental state has to be a pot of stew right now after coming so close to winning the title from Hughes and choking.  The man struggled to finish fights in K-1 and is 0-2 in UFC fights since his return.  And Pulver is high energy guy that you're going to have to finish off.  Plus he has knockout power.  Someone that can finish the fight in a flash cannot be laying this price.  Penn currently outweighs Pulver however.  Does anyone know if they are going to be even weights?  If so, I highly favor a play on Pulver.

nevermind i remember its at the finale for the show.  i really cant believe that pulver is this heavy of a dog either though.

I was wondering the same thing. There has to be an explanation. I've heard Pulver is training hard for this fight, and he beat Penn in their first match.

the only reason i can think of is that penn is traditionally a welterweight and pulver is natural lightweight..

Gotta cheer for my local friend from Hawaii.
 
1st match between Pulver & Penn Pulver was saved by the bell only to come back to beat BJ in the end.
 
BJ and Pulver hate each other with a passion. BJ lost overall in the Ultimate Fighter with none of his boys making it to the final. BJ actually lost the Ping Pong match between Pulver and himself. Personally I know the type of person he is and BJ hates to lose at anything esp against Pulver. Mark my words BJ will win next week.

i'll be in vegas for the hatton-castillo fight, cant decide if i'll bet this one or not with the price.  bj can taste it
