Pavlik withdraws from Saturdays fight

He looked like he was going to have a good career, but it looks like he's peaked already and just going to fight for money. He kept pulling out of a Paul Williams fight (I was looking forward to it) now this bs, pulling out of a fight the week of the fight with no injury. He isn't serious enough about fighting anymore to beat a top super middleweight.

"He said, 'Why should I fight Bute for $1.1 million if Kessler wouldn't take $3.5 million? And why should I fight Cunningham on Saturday if I'm not taking the Bute fight? So I'm not fighting either one of these guys.' That's the last conversation I had with Kelly.”

In my eyes Pavlik doesn't belong in the ring, he belongs in AA. Once you cancel an entire card a week before, might as well kiss your sorry career goodbye

Good find NJD   I didn't even see that till I read it here.

Is it drink or coke that's his demon ?

Whatta shitty weekend of boxing. 5 Dimes hasn't put up any lines all week

why Kelly, why...

That espn main event was good last night

It was.  Too bad only two more weeks of FNF for the year (and the main event for the finale had to be scrapped because of the Provodnikov injury).
