Well, I'm a little twisted from hibachi and saki bombing but I'm  watching Pavilk-Taylor (A fight which I was supposed to be at) and feel like as much as I like Pavlik, I have to bet Taylor in fight #2 Taylor has under-estimated punching-power and I feel after fight 1 he has respect for Pavlik's power and won' try to win this fight by getting in exchanges but rather by winning this fight by boxing! If I am correct the title is not on the line because Pavlik will be defending against Duddy in his next fight after this one, but I feel Taylor needs to regain the respect he got when beating Hopkins and using his jab effectively to set up other punches (like he used v.s. Hopkins) and get more aggressive not the laid back still which had boxing fans bored and doubting his position as middle weight champ. I would love to hear opinions from Fullbrights, Bigeii, and others from the forum on covers which I feel to be most reliable!

The Ghost will KO him again.

Taylor isnt that good. Pavlik hits hard and he will knock him out again. maybe faster

(title isnt on the line because they are fighting at a higher weight)

I am with NJDevils.  I think you see a repeat result.  Taylor's training situation is a mess, I think Pavlik will be even stronger at 166 pounds, and Taylor doesn't have the type of mental makeup to overcome the devastating KO in the last fight.

Taylor's not coming back from those "dark places".  At a heavier weight Pavlik KO's him again.

Taylor's lack of head movement is very bad. It's why he gets hit with so many right hands. I think Pavlik probably smashes Taylor again.

IF, & I do n0t suggest this happens, but IF JT were to just go into total belligerent offensive mode, he might get to KP early, but finish him off this time. But JT has always seemed a little kicked or gunshy on some level to me. KP can be hit, we've seen him go down b4. But I gotta favor the aggressor, & that's almost for sure gonna be KP, again.

BTW: thx for the kind word Curtis, I do appreciate on that.

Hmmmmm, could JT win on an hunt&peck kinda Jabbing mission? Maybe, if KP were to fight that fight as well. JT is quicker, so he might get there first more often under that stratagem. But KP will be feeling his juice, after already having stopped JT to take JT's Belt's once before. I expect KP will try to end JT early on; no matter what JT tries to do.

Yeah, he has hardly any, add to the fact that he keeps his left hand near his waist and you have a recipe for disaster.  Pavlik isn't the king of head movement, but he is able to deflect a lot of punches with his gloves, something that Jermain isn't very good at either.  If I remember correctly from the 1st fight, Pavlik adjusted well to Taylor's jab by bending at the waist a bit and bringing his right hand over to protect.

yeah I don't get why he holds his left low. I don't think he did that earlier in his career. As the first fight went on Pavlik did block Taylor's punches pretty well. I won't lay the chalk on Pavlik I will look for better options. Not betting Taylor under any circumstance though.

he has been doing that Philly shit since he was 12 and got away with it due to his athletic ability now he is fighting someone just as athletic as him and punches harder and is in such good shape that Philly shit dont work.I thought Pav was winning every round except the one he got dropped and that was due to his lack of respect and the ability to hit JT when ever he wanted.Pav gets more Defencive and stops JT in 7. Hate the juice though

I don't think you'll have to deal with as much juice in the days leading up to the fight.  There's a large portion of an irrational public that still dismisses the last outcome as a fluke and will pound Taylor at dog odds in the rematch.
