I saw Gallardo soundly beat Lenin Arroyo last August (in a slight
upset, although I had Gallardo), and I saw Fernando Angulo outwork
Lopez last July (a very close fight, as I remember picking Angulo but
holding my breath when the decision was announced). Lopez is
definitely more skilled than Arroyo, and he hits harder, too. I think
some people question whether Gallardo can stand up to Lopez's shots.
Still, I thought Lopez was completely overvalued when I saw the line
originally come out (-800 in some places!), but it's settled down a
bit, with Lopez around -450 and Gallardo around +300. Gallardo's
probably worth a play if you want action on the FNF.
