Someone going to jail isn't really that funny is it. It is probably a blessing in disguise. Floyd's ego has got out of control, hopefully this will make him more humble.

If you watch his last fight, he gave a fight for the fans... he allowed Cotto to attack giving fans an action fight.
If he wanted to he could of Boxed Cotto's head off.. but he knows the fans want to see more ACTION.
He made peace with Larry Merchant, and sounded like he's mellowing out quite a bit, remember most of what you see on 24/7 with Floyd is ACTING.. he needs to be the villain and hated to sell tickets.
I do think a stint in jail (if it's even really jail) is good for him anyways... shows him he isn't above the law. MONEY can only buy you out of certain things.

Regardless of his showman-ship attitude (and his real one), it appears he does quite a bit for people and his community (Pacquiao too). Also remember, this man was raised by his uncle with his father constantly antagonizing him. Floyd and Roger have had legal problems, but Roger has always been quiet unless he is asked a question and he responds honestly. That's a tough family life when you have a lot of money, everyone wanting some, and knowing that your own father would trade you in for a payday (like he wanted to train Oscar against his son). Yes, we all have issues, but he does as well. Personally, I'm just disappointed that such a talented fighter made boxing business first and being the best you can second by not taking many fights that were risky to him. Then again, the world has turned all business and not looked back so why do we expect others to fight the tide that seems so easy?
