Vera definitely had his chances. McEwan showed a decent enough chin tonight, a little less smarts than I would have liked, and a style that will get him absolutely decimated by the top 10 at 154. I don't think he has the physical gifts to be the next Sergio Martinez. Maybe not even the next Yuri Foreman. I see an interesting fight with Harry Joe Yorgey down the line on Shobox. Or they can move him sideways and fight a Gabe Rosado type.
