and this has nothing to do with Khans suspect chin.  Maidana is underated.  People think he's some type of wild brawler with no skills.  They couldn't be more wrong.  He has EXTREME power, the power to make you think twice before throwing.  The type of power that can put you to sleep at any second in the fight.  And this is with both hands.  He also does damage to the body (see Cayo fight).

He has great feet although sometimes flatfooted.  Khan will have to bang with Maidana at somepoint and when that happens it will be LIGHTS OUT

I think McNulty said it best. You are just going to keep picking underdogs until you eventually hit one and then announce to the forum I told you. Seriously and I am pretty sure I speak for 100% of this forum. FCUK OFF!

LOL people always do that..gets on my nerves.

I think Khan might stop Maidana late. Maidana didn't look too good for Corley.

the fact that khan is one of pacquiao's cheif sparring partners, has really  helped him improve greatly over the past year. he has looked very good in his past couple fights, khans boxing skills are top notch and most think that will be enough to carry him to a easy decision win, I actually feel differently, maidana is a warrior at heart and although his lacks the polished skills of khan, I think his power and determination will be the difference in this one, this fight reminds me alot of forrest vs mayorga 2. I see maidana's heart, punching power and determination taking controll of the fight in the later rounds, khan will go down a couple of times from maidana's huge right hand and the ref will call this one off somewhere around the 11th round.         weak chin vs one punch power, If maidana can land, maidana will win, I think he will.

I really like Amir Khan here. The one punch you need to KO Khan with is a deadly straight right to the CHIN.

Marcos Maidana doesn't have that punch, not only does he lack the straight punch he always fights taller than what he is without head movement... which is why he hit the canvas so many times against Ortiz.

Khan keeps this to the outside it's a cakewalk because Maidana is a walking punching bag (with power).

I believe Khan stops him  mid-fight,but waiting for the Pts handicap to come out at 5 dimes. This way a KO/TKO is a win and if Maidana somehow lasts 12 he probably won't win a round.

Freddie Roach only takes fights that his fighter can win, this one is a mismatch but it's throwing many people off by Maidana's power.

Realize Maidana is a rugged fighter but he lacks head movement, and must eat shots to get inside. Why did he beat Ortiz? Well first off Ortiz has no heart and didn't use the jab at all and believe me you will see plenty of stiff jabs from Khan.

You might see Knock out of the year here not because Khan is a deadly puncher but the way Maidana doesn't move his head when he's trying to evade or counter.. leaves his head as a wide open target.

I will be playing Khan via the points handicap assuming the line will be decent. I see Khan giving him a beating with the bonus of the ko/tko is the best bet on the board in my opinion.

This is a very lopsided fight, don't be fooled by the power of Maidana and the "CHIN" of Khan it takes a certain punch to land that and Maiadana doesn't have it. Straight right on the button, he loops his punches and only throws straight when he's close and don't think he will ever get close enough.

Good luck to everyone regardless of who you have!

Khan is going to play this fight ultra safe, just like when he fought Kotelnik. I can see Khan getting aggressive at times (pit-pat flurries) when its safe to let loose but overall he'll play it safe and coast to an easy dec.

I'm big on Khan by dec. That's my "big" play of the week. I like all of the favorites this weekend on HBO and Showtime
