Thanks Walktheline. As you posted, Maidana won by TKO. How did he do in the match, was he ever in trouble against Karass?

Frankly, if I would have had live betting available I would have slammed Soto-Karass at the end of round 6. It looked like Maidana was gassed and pretty much attempting to hold on. Maidana storms back and drops him with a gorgeous straight right at the end of round 7, Karass gets the standing 8 count with :04 seconds left in the 7th. Maidana got him on the ropes in the 8th, landing bombs until it's waived off. Outstanding action fight in which Maidana appeared to learn how to jab and box overnight!
