I've been looking all night as well and have found nothing. hopefully it was an early round KO! I had u 9.5 rounds.

me 2 but I read another guy's post and it doesn't sound promising. I just wish I could find the result.

i was watching this fight, but it was in Spanish so I may not have all the facts straight. First off, EarlyRetirement you definitely won the under.

In one of the earlier rounds (no later than the 4th) Reyes punched Hinojosa in the back of the neck/head very hard and the fight had to be stopped. They gave him the 5 mins to recover but the doctor came and put a neckbrace on him saying he couldn't continue.

I believe that Reyes was disqualified because the punch was illegal, but it may have been ruled a no-contest.

the fight will be most likely be called a No Decision
and all bets will be voided

if they DQ'ed Reyes it would be a travesty

i wouldn't call that an acting job, that was a vicious down-punch to the base of the neck. Hinojosa didn't really play the injury up or anything, he was just sitting on his chair until the doc came up and stopped it.

doctor never stopped it....doc in fact encouraged him to continue
but the guy wouldn't fight

i have no idea, to be honest i stopped watching after like 10 minutes of seeing Hino sitting on a chair with a neckbrace on. Like I said, it was in Spanish too so that didn't help anything.

no verdict was announced in the ring...which is rare
announcement was "title is vacant"
money could be held up for days unfortunately
i doubt a decision is rendered tonight
the commission will probably review it

This could very well be ruled a no contest, in which case - like Ghost points out, all bets are off.  It's looking more and more like that as the minutes go by with no official word.  There is a slim chance this ends up as a DQ, but I'd be a little surprised if that happened.

What round did it stop at?

it was the end of the very 1st round
fight had just started
it was an illegal blow for sure
but not a fight ending blow
Hinojosa was complaining from the first minute
A2C called this correctly
it was a shot fighter, knowing the eventual outcome, looking for way out
37 years old and didn't want another hard night at the office
he packed it in - no doubt
