johnnie mortons MMA debut

You are correct sir, that is the one.

From Sherdog:

Following his mixed martial arts debut Saturday in Los Angeles, former NFL football player Johnny Morton was indefinitely suspended by the California State Athletic Commission after the 35-year-old from Torrance, Calif. refused to take his post-fight anti-doping test, CSAC Executive Officer Armando Garcia told Sherdog.com.

Paramedics attended to Morton in the ring, fitting him for a cervical collar before carrying him out of the ring on a stretcher. He was taken to California Hospital, where Morton's trainer said he was alert and conscious.

As part of the CSAC's anti-doping policy, Morton provided a sample prior to his fight. Garcia said that sample will be tested.

Looks like a very short career and no payday for Morton.  Something tells me he was trying to hide a performance enhancer.  What a joke.

jdr016:  What do you think of Lesnar's future in the sport?  He is going to make a lot of money due to his name, but I wonder what happens when he steps in against solid opposition.  Obviously you couldn't tell much from the minute the fight lasted Saturday night against Soo Kim who is not much of anything.
