Jim Lampley

Is the biggest tool in sportscasting, outside of Larry Merchant. They make PPV nearly unwatchable sometimes.

i love the stupid questions larry asks after a fight, other than that he is useless.

So true. Larry Merchant makes me want to cut my ears off and mail them to him. Those announcers on CBS Strikeforce are pretty brutal as well. You figure they could at least get the fighters names right every now and then. Love Gus Johnson calling college basketball though. He's one of the best.

Oops. Sorry for the double post. I'm still getting the hang of this.

i like Merchant

Me too.

He's unique, that'll do (these days)...

Me too.  Did you hear after the first fight, when Lampley interupted Merchant?  Merchant waited for him to finish, then went ahead with the end of his sentence.  It was pretty funny.

Merchant:  Where Ouali is from, they consider it a sin to be left-hander, but tonight......

Lampley (interupting):  Let's look at the Compubox numbers.  Ouali only threw....blahblahblah......(talks for another minute)

Merchant:  ....he made Saldivia pay for those sins.
