Congrats on the Poonswat, easy win!
I will be rooting for Arreola tonight also, tired of the Klitchos!
To me Chris should have taken one more fight and get in better shape before this fight. People say he looked great in sparring.
He was 239 against Chaz Whiterspoon, there is NO reason why he would balloon up to 259 against Travis Walker, something is wrong there.
People Praise him for coming in at 251.. wow 8 pounds LESS than 259, but he strayed FAR away from his 239 weight, and he could have been Top Notch at 239 he was still a bit flabby even at 239, but his hand speed was very good.
Now he's carrying tons of fat and he isn't as fast.
We all know this is a no risk free shot for Arreola, he's expected to LOSE.
Heavyweight division is so forgiving that you can rack up losses and still get title shots, there is nothing out there.
Chris needs to be serious and start taking weight off.. we know MORE weight doesn't add ;power, and can ONLY slow you down.
Chris Arreola has many things going for him tonight, younger, faster, but he doesn't have experience and the mental toughness yet, remember heavyweights Mature MUCH later than most.
I will be rooting for Chris but like you I don't think he can do it, but would be happy for him if he does.
I would like to see some of that Amateur experience in the ring tonight, that being BOXING not brawling, seems when Arreola gets hit he brawls, for us fight fans that great but not in the HEAVYWEIGHT division!
I hope Chris wins and opens up the door for many other heavyweights... we desperately we need a new crop of fighters something to make us want to watch!
If Chris doesn't pull it off, I like Eddie Chambers the new slimmer Eddie Chambers.. to have the best shot at beating a Klitcho!
Oh and we will be forced to watch the Marquez/Mayweather fight again before seeing Arreola lol! So set your alarm clock you may fall asleep during thosse 12 rounds and miss the Arreola fight.
Congrats and let's go Chris!
