Unknown sport? This fight will probably set a record for pay per view, regardless of what clowns like you do. See the fight with a few friends so you don't pay as much.

The sport of boxing and Mayweather are two completely different entities.  $75? yeah, all day and all night.  As Jabber mentioned, this fight is expected to break PPV records.  That should tell you how many "alienated fans" are going to pay for this.

The HEAVYWEIGHT champion in the sport sells out soccer stadiums when he fights.  If you don't know about something, that's fine.  But don't think you know about something when you're really clueless.  There are a lot of things I don't know about.  I'm fine with that.  Not knowing stuff is cool.  That's how you learn more stuff.

"The secondary market ticket sales for Floyd Mayweather's bout with Canelo Alvarez are off-the-charts, far outpacing any other fight in recent memory and only falling short of the kind of price seen for the Super Bowl."

Totally the makes of an 'unknown' sport.

Yeah, you're right.  Nobody will buy it.  They'll only get 2.5 million buys.
