Weight & see. To me that's the 'tude needed to cap this extremely hard to call (notice I did not type extremely even), bout.
Will Ivan Calderon (nearly one of my boys), move up from Min.Weight better than HFC cuts down in Weight? Several reports have suggest that HFC was not doing well in cutting down for this Fight. But HFC will easily be the biggest & possibly the hardest punching guy El Niño has ever faced. So.....Voltage clearly favors HFC. IC has a low watt fuse to say the least. Size easily favors HFC as well, he has a mild Reach edge. Both are Lefy's so that a wash. Experience & Resume` a nearly dead-even. Maybe a nano edge on Resume` to IC, but maybe not as well. Homecourt favs's IC.
To me I can only see playing the obvious Outcomes. I really kan't take a pure Side here, & the Total is something of a de facto Side choice as well. HTH's.

Cazares has a clear size and weight advantage which in this class could make a substantial difference. Cazares has been knocking out good fighters while Calderon has been getting decisions with weaker opposition. Looks like an overlay at pick 'em so I'm backing Cazares in this one.
Here's my convoluted logic.

I like Cazares's physical advantages, but wonder what effect the
late weight loss took on him. I think if he wins he does it inside the
distance, but if he doesn't get it done early he may fade down the
stretch due to the weight so I am taking Calderon by 12 rd decision to
cover that bet. I definitely don't see Calderon stopping Cazares unless a cut is involved and I have a hard time seeing Cazares winning a decision here.
.75 unit on Cazares ITD (+367) .50 of a unit on Calderon by 12rd decision (+149)
FYI.... Streamtvnow
members, they are showing the Puerto Rico PPV card live tonight, it's
not worth paying $30 for in my mind, plus for those like me that have
cable instead of Directv, it's the only option.
Here is what I posted in the Delvin thread:
