Hmm...Bradley-Alexander

Strange that this fight hasn't been talked about on here.  Bradley is battling the flu, and the line that I thought was off is now starting to make sense with a lot of money pouring in on Devon.  I will have my pick later in the week.  What does everyone think?

That's the link for the flu.  It was going around before Satterfield got his hands on it.  Why leak it to the press?  Hmmm....

It seems that Bradley had to cut sparring short etc. because of this flu.  He seems to be in rough shape. 

Luke...good play on Devon at +195.  I found that line hilarious.  Fight is a lot closer than that.

I like Bradley here, flu doesn't make a difference he's in great shape all the time.

I do agree the price is inflated, that was due to Devon's last showing which he got roughed up by Kotelnik.

If you take the Kotelnik fight away line would be Bradley -150 at best.

I'm rooting for Bradley.. because I believe if he shines this will be Floyd's next opponent assuming he's not in prison.

Bradley is an excellent opponent for Pac-man and Floyd... but he needs a great outing here for the PUBLIC to want to see it.

Only chance Devon has is if Bradley gets reckless (he has been known to do that a few times).

I was going to plough into Bradley but something is stopping me. I think Bradley will win. I think his big fight experience (an example is going to Britain to beat Junior Quitter) should see him get a tough close decision.

Here is the thing though. I don't think Bradley is that great. Good but not great. There was thoughts of Bradley getting Mayweather or Pacquaio. Will never happen, BUT if it did I think Pacquaio or Mayweather destroys him.

Alexander is still Raw. His fight against Kotelnick showed me that. BUT he is still relatively unexposed and it's hard to know how good this kid can be. I think now there is more upside betting Devon Alexander in this fight. I think he is naturally the more talented fighter but Bradley is mentally tough and has more experience. Bradley has reached his ceiling, he is as good as he is going to get. I am going to bet on the potential of Devon Alexander.

A fascinating fight which I will enjoy rather then invest much in.

I feel the exact same way. That's probably why there's not much buzz about this fight on this forum - nobody feels too secure on either fighter. I'm waiting for a certain prop to be released. I'll let yall know after I pound it.

After studying a lot of tape I am taking Devon.  I think his uppercut is going to hurt Bradley, Bradley leans in too much.  Also, Alexander is bigger, has a better jab, and is a southpaw.  He has never been dropped in his entire life, amateur, gym, pro, anything.  He also has more power than Bradley.  I think the perception that Kotelnik was going to get crushed by Devon enhanced what people saw.  Bradley is a very good fighter, but he has shown us what he has.  Alexander is young, and hasn't.

Wow.  Alexander has never been down in his entire life, that includes in the gym, amateurs or pro.  It is a known fact in boxing.  Bradley isn't stopping anybody, especially Devon.  Alexander will win tonight.
