I would be very hesitant to take Peter SU laying that number. I think it has parlay potential, but I wouldn't be on Peter for anything significant.
I take it from your post that you didn't see his last fight because if you did there is no way you could say he should be -4300. Any heavyweight who is knocked down 3 times by Jameel McQueef is not the type that you want to be laying -400 on.

Regarding "the chalk", someone tell me how long it will continue its reign on HBO boxing. For those of you that don't track this stuff, it has dominated the side for the las two years. It's been a powerful trend. I'd like to think the underdogs will have their day, Quintana did a nice job as a 4-1 dog. On a side note, OM was one of only a handful of underdogs to win a fight on HBO the year he KO'd Hasim Rachman for the title he presently holds.

Quintana was a far bigger dog than that by fight time.
Yeah, I think the trend on favorites winning last year on HBO was due to the fact it was a very weak year in terms of matchmaking until the 4th quarter. There were an awful lot of showcase fights.
Favorites were 33-6 last year on HBO. Two of those upsets at the hands of Pavlik. I didn't count Winky-Hopkins and Diaz-Morales since they were more or less pick em's.
