Cro Cop at UFC 75

Anyone know anything about Cheick Kongo?  I guess he's a French kick boxer turned MMA fighter.  Hopefully these two match up well, I would hate to see the UFC match Cro Cop up with some bum.

Has Cro Cop got that foot out of his neck yet?

From what I've seen, Kongo is an excellent striker but damn near worthless on the ground.

 

 

Bense is right.  Joe Silva and the UFC are banking on a stand up war.  Should be entertaining.

Kongo's forte is striking, but I would not call him an excellent striker.  He has NO heart to get inside and strike.  He will use some muay thai knees.  He should use them much more than he does with his size.  Like someone else said, he is awful on the ground.  Hmmmmm......put one of the best strikers in the world in the cage with another striker after he was defeated by getting GnP'ed for 2-3 minutes.  Kongo will be a punching bag for CC.  This will get ugly!!
