Cristian Mihares vs Vic Darchinian this Saturday

These lower weight big matchups almost never dissapoint.

have not seen a line on it. just wondering what everyone thought of this one.

 

 

Mijares is about 1.33 as favourite.

 

I just rewatched Mijares vs Navarro and Vic vs Kirilov. Sylewise, its a bad matchup for Darchinyan.
They both fight from Southpaw you see. When both men are Southpaws, the lead hand gains significance and the rear hand is a bit harder to land.
Now Vic's lead has no power as he is a paw and smash type fighter while Mijares is very much a right lead fighter.
I think the most likely outcome is Mijares sticks that right in Vic's face all night.

Vic's got his hail mary prayer in round one as I notice Cristian starts slow then warms up. After that, Mijares is the faster and really only has to watch the left.
Arce couldn't bulldoze thru and I don't think Darchinyan will either.

Im in the minority. I think Darchinyan can find Mijares at some point in this fight and score a late stoppage

Didn't Mijares look bad eh. He only had to watch that Vic's left hand and circle clockwise to get away from it, but he didn't even do that. How so you say, he seems so er witty.

 

I thought Mijares handspeed looked slower than normal.

 

I dont want to jinx the Giants by throwing Eli in there and I dont want to jinx Brodeur (even though he got hurt saturday)
