I think not.  Cotto too patient to allow himself to be overwhelmed by the Phillipino typhoon.  Too big for the "Little Mike Tyson".  Too techinically sound to lose to a fighter such as Manny.  Cotto was literally beat into submission by Margacheato and that's the only way to beat this SOB (yes I had Clottey), and he can take whatever Manny will have to dish out and then some, until he lands the equalizer, which is a textbook left hook to the body.

    Cotto by late stoppage.

Cotto would have to come down and he has said on numerous occasions he won't come down but as we know money talks! Cotto is far too big now to get down to 140 so we are talking about 143 catchweight, otherwise the fight won't happen. I believe the money involved will dictate that Cotto comes down and hopefully this fight happens as I truly believe it would be a classic and I would even see 2 fights or even a trilodgy.

I mean what a fascinating fight! Fatten (the most over rated fighter in history) and Oscar De LaHoya (was shot to pieces) couldn't make their size tell against Pacman. Cotto almost certainly would. Cotto would be at least 10 pounds heavier on the night and that would be alot for Manny to overcome against such a warrior. However Pacman's speed means he is in with a BIG chance as Cotto is their to be hit and I would see Manny winning quite a few rounds because of his superior speed.

Styles make fights, and personally I would see 2 outcomes. Pacman on points or Cotto by knockout. Despite Manny's power, I cannot see him stopping Cotto. Cotto is simply too big and too strong with too much heart to be stopped by someone as small as Manny (this is not Margherito)...

I wouldn't put people off taking Cotto but if this fight happens I will be on Pacman by points...

Pacman should take the fight even at 147. I see no way Cotto can survive the way he is eating clean leather these days. Manny's swift feet and hands would have Cotto in big big trouble.

Cotto shouldn't take this fight at a catch weight. This would put his excuse that 140 was starching him at risk, and this was a few years ago that Cotto said he couldn't make 140 pounds, a few years later and many punches later.. 143 won't help him.. he needs the fight at 147.

My question is both guys are BOB Arum Fighters. I feel Cotto is on the decline, and this is a way for Arum to get  BIG money  for BOTH fighters and a way to dispose of Cotto.. and make Pac-man an even bigger DRAW.

Arum made the Clottey/Cotto fight.. in the end BOTH Fighters were winners, Clottey will get paydays and some respect, and Cotto by being easily hit but not giving up makes him a draw still and has many wanting him because he has many flaws as a fighter. (Winner BOB ARUM).

I have no pick on the fight yet, (assuming it happens).. but I feel Cotto is on the decline and Pac-man although fighting two shot fighters (Oscar and Hatton) seems to be becoming a better BOXER.

Pac-man his last 3 fights has made milllions upon millions, versus David Diaz,Oscar De La Hoya,Ricky Hatton.. and personally don't think he even got hit with one decent punch in all 3 fights COMBINED.

Cotto must be given credit, taking Margarito and Clottey is no small feat, but after watching his fights you can see Cotto isn't  fighter he once was (Heart is there) but skills are declining.

Cotto reminds me of Mikey Tyson (after Tyson lost his head movement and jab) very hittable and Technical Boxers can pick him apart.

Question is Pac-man as good as his past 3-0 record indicates? If Cotto fought the last 3 guys he would be 3-0 also.

Cotto's advantage of every fighter he fought was his foot speed, and Pac-man  has MORE foot speed and HAND speed than COTTO.

Bob Arum ringside with Pac-man.. whispering to each other.. I smell a RAT. They want Cotto, the fight will be ALL on Mannys terms, (Vegas) (145) and probably a 40-60 split  assuming it takes place.

Best thing for Cotto is to fight Mosley again, both men respect each other, fought a great fight, not one got "hurt" yet it was a great fight to watch. Mosley is pretty good guy  will fight at 147, take an even split, and is the best fight for Cotto.

I feel Cotto no longer has a say in his fight future, ARUM will make him fight Pac-man.

    Cotto by late stoppage.

Cotto  hits like a women.  Pacman KO in 1 round!

If he takes fights that suit him yes, but Margarito, Clottey... keep going down that path.. you don't last long.

He earned a lot of respect from many by fighting with the eye like that, but there comes a time you can no longer be Rocky Balboa.

He's been in some big fights, and taken some big shots I like watching him fight, if he takes the Pac-man fight I believe Arum is looking to dispose of him.Why are they chasing Cotto so badly why would Arum pit two of his money fighters together.

In my eyes Arum  is all gaga over Pac-man.  I love pac-man but he's been in 3 easy fights Diaz,Oscar,Hatton. Cotto had been in 2 grueling fights also remember he fought Mosley .. for 12 rounds and he took ton of head shots..

If Pac-man/Cotto Happens and Cotto loses .. what happens to Cotto?? Unless he is in a war with Pac-man and it's a thrilling fight where does Cotto go?

I personally don't want to see Cotto leave yet, I believe he is declining (not fast) but he's becoming more hittable, cutting even easier (scar tissue never heals) his head movement is non existent and he has gone from a guy who pushes other people back, to now back peddling himself (Maragrito & Clottey). (Against Bigger fighters)

I wanted him to fight Mosley again, was a very good fight. Someone who isn't bigger than him, in my eyes was his best fight toe to toe!

Who do you think he should fight? I say Mosley! :) Oddly.. Cotto has never been in a rematch in his whole career!
