Broner By KO

I don't know if I will actually bet this fight..cause I don't like betting chalk, but I cannot see any other outcome. In looking at Showtime xxxxxx, Broner looks super sharp and Maidana looks somewhat reserved. Misleading? I dunno, but even if so, Maidana looks like he has only a puncher's chance..only problem is Broner doesn't leave himself open so it'll have to be a lucky punch. My book currently has MM at +385/AB at -485 straight to win.

There is an outside chance Maidana could survive the 12 round beating, and AB could carry him in order to avoid the lucky punch, cause I think MM's power will be felt at some point and AB will want to play it safe and put on a show. This would obviously kill the bet.

But I MM on points is highly improbable and even MM to win straight seems like a bad proposition especially at my book's horrid price.

i dunno Larry. I mean this is only Broners 2nd fight at 147 and he is yet to prove he can bring the power up from 135.

Maidana has never been KO'd. I see your angle in that I think Broner will give this guy a lesson and look good doing so but I will play the points simply cause its safer. Not for much though as this could be Broners coming out party...

They might put up a "KO or UD" prop.  Might be the way to go, imo.

I think broner will KO MM just for the simple fact that MM is so easy to hit and will be coming right to AB. I like MM a lot cause he has heart but he has been in some wars. Even Lopez was giving it to him until he got caught. I like the Broner KO a lot. GL in your play Larry....AB isn't going to carry anyone he is going to try to impress. Especially after Paulie.

I have been looking at this fight and trying to find a reason to take Maidana and I just can't. I believe this is going to be Broner's coming out party and he's just going to light Marcos up. My local hasn't posted prop bets yet (they usually don't until Friday or Saturday) but the only thing I might throw on is Broner ITD. I do think Thurman gets tested by Soto-Karass early before losing a close but clear decision. Really looking forward to an exciting weekend of fights. Best of luck on your plays guys. 

For those of you that will watch the fight, and have wagers contigent on KOs and ITD, if you see Broner attempting to catch MM with too many check-left hooks I think you will probably lose your bet. Broner is a much better puncher when he mixes his punches. 

For Broner I feel the power is gonna come from volume. He will try and get Maidana out of there somewhere in the later rounds. Last week,decisions dominated the night, this week I'm betting on a few INSIDE THE DECISIONS. Nice thread so far................

My book is now +325/-425. And frankly I don't get it.. Broner is looking so sharp, and Maidana is looking subdued..I would make this line +800/-925 just on appearances alone.. somebody help me understand this.

-925? That's if Broner is fighting a guy that is a tomato can. The line is just about right. This is only Broner's 2nd fight at 147 and he didn't looks spectacular vs Malignaggi. Part of the reason was because I don't think he took the fight too seriously.

As for Broner by KO, this happens if Maidana truly comes to fight and comes out aggressive. If the fight is a controlled pace then its going to be Broner by decision.

Broner will give this guy a boxing lesson n if it goes all 12 rounds they will give the decision to broner just because he is "suppose" to take mayweather spot...so take broner he will win by decision

Broner a complete fraud. Wasn't impressed when he fought Pauli. Tonight, it was enjoyable watching him getting beaten up.

to be honest my friend is a runner for a huge bettor in town at the M casino and he said a few things that made me bet against broner and everything he said was true...obviously wasnt inside info just a smart mans opinion but you clearly know your stuff as well man keep it up! this is 2nd boxing match ive ever bet but maybe ill start tailing some of your picks

I had ITD so not so good but it was nice to see the end result. I don't think Broner just lost I think all the body shots he took hurt him real bad. Why would someone expend all that energy coming into the ring? Then totally disrespect Chino before and during the fight. If there was ever justice served it was last night. The only thing better would have been a KO but he wouldn't have been punished the way he was. What were the comentators looking at anyway? I couldn't give Broner any of the first 5 rounds. Also, Chino was so much bigger then AB. It was a great fight to watch. Very satisfying...
