I missed the initial news on this one...remember this huge guy from the WWE a few years back? He's taking on 7 foot 2 Korean Hong-Man Choi on June 2nd at the Los Angeles Coliseum.
Lesner has been training for a year with UFC lightweight champion Sean Sherk...should be a good battle of the heavyweights, anybody see any lines available for this one?

Yeah, I watched the preview show that Showtime had on the card the other night, it was pretty entertaining. That Choi dude is a giant, it was nice to see Mighty Mo knock him out after that cheesy entrance he had into the ring. I hope that Lesnar beats him; Lesnar has the wresting background from his days at the University of Minnesota, but I wonder what his striking ability is like. I had no idea that Lesnar was married to Sable.
The only knowledge I have a professional wrestler venturing into a boxing match or MMA, was about 7-8 years ago when the WWF did a Toughman tournament with their wrestlers. They let the winner face Butterbean at Wrestlemania and Butterbean knocked the dude out in like a minute, it was hilarious. I was over at a friend's house who liked that fake stuff and everybody in the room was saying that the guy would knock out Butterbean, I just laughed and said that it would be the complete opposite and then the "Bean" dropped the hammer.

Actally Royce Gracie VS Kazushi "The Gracie Hunter"Sakuraba on the undercard will be a better fight .The last time these two fought it lasted 6 - fifteen minute rounds until Gracie threw in the towel due to exhaustion.

Choi has been denied his license to fight. Another good job by a Japanese company trying to put on a show in America. I thought the Japanese were suppose to be good businessmen.

Not very smart on Showtime's part to put on that preview show and then not even be able to get him in the country for the PPV.
