Anyone seen a line on Gomez vs. Tackie?

 

Only straight odds so far.

Gomez -450 Tackie +325

Mora -900 Ayala +600

 

Gomez -500

Tackie +400

OVER/UNDER  -500, +400

 

Maybe play Tackie and the UNDER, hope for a fluke KO or stoppage??  Thoughts?

 SM & the UP on his Fight. I don't like the "Latin Snake", but he is slippery on offense, even if his Voltage is pretty well unplugged. I like the homecourt, and what I will call an overall Skillz edge here for SM.

Beating AG is basically nothing to me. I don't read anything negative into having done such, but it's not worth an bonus pts. either for 'fonso. Tackie tends to get beat when stepping up, but I suggest you ask yourself if Gomez is a step up? Ben has the Power edge, the Experience edge, a minor Resume` edge as well. Though on Gomez's homecourt, and w/ a possilbe mutual Mexican match-up looming (& the associated Pesos), I'm dubious Ben can get a Decision.

I'll take out BT ITD prop if I can. If not, I'll bet the LOW for 1/4th of a unit.

Well; you gotta learn to bet them lightly. But you also need to try to throw them in w/ a -200 or less play. Only takes a couple of chalks to raise the -200 anchor to a 1:1 payday.

I keep thinking Gomez suffers a let down here post-Gatti and pre-Chavez Jr.  I am also having flashbacks to the Feliciano draw.

That's on my mind as well Fbs. I'm throwing a min.wager on Ben SU, & 1/4th on the LOW. Though some of the stuff I read, claimed that Gomez has fixed that Stamina issue; we will see.

What say you on the Atomic Bull this weekend or on Bute getting upset? Then on the mega Euro match-up of MK vs. JoeCal please? TIA.

I had it 6-4 for SM. But I'll listen to a Draw or 4-6 against. But the one Judge who had SM almost sweeping the fight is taking the proverbial "brown acid" from Woodstock. I say SM did just enough to win, from the middle Rounds on. But he clearly did n0t win by a 9-1 margin. I was for SM, maybe biased by such, but not that biased, as I'm dubious that SM won any more than a Round outta the 1st 4 Rounds, & he may have been shut-out over the same. But this is why I've never been a fan of the "Latin Snake", dude may still be unbeaten, but dude is still o-ver-ra-ted.

Bigeiii: A very tough fight for Mora as a -900 fave escaping with the draw.  He is insane if he thinks he can compete with Pavlik or Taylor for that matter.

Teddy is in rare form tonight.

"I don't see any grill marks on Gomez, but trust me he is feeling the heat."

The grill marks one was nice. Ben is nothing if not game. But I'm concerned how Ben is at Age 50 for this style of fighting.

Wow!!! What a sandwich analogy.  Teddy is insane tonight.

Close fight in my opinion.  I have a feeling these scorecards will be interesting though with the same judges from the Mora fight.  I can't get over that 99-91 travesty for Mora.

That did not help me.

But I had it a very solid 6-4 favor of Gomez. I was pretty strong on each Round. & Gomez won the 10th, so while it was a game fight, it's not one I can hold in much dispute, or cry about, even though it beat me.

Won $500 on this fight with $2350 on Gomez.  I didn't put it in my pick thread.  I was in Thailand and somewhat hungover.  But not too hung over to make it to the cafe and place the wager :)  mmmm,.....Chaaaalk.
