Andre Ward retires?

I don't blame 'em. Coming right after the GGG/Canelo fight too.   I wonder how much of this decision comes from all of the corruption that's plagued boxing this year

What is there left for him to do??  He is not a big draw and Roc Nation was probably losing money on him, just like Cotto.

Like all professional athletes...  To make more unnecessary money.  He's only 33 (so like we've with GGG at 35) still has a lot more in the tank and was just on the verge of signing a mutli million dollar deal with HBO.  I'm just assuming maybe he didn't want to leave his legacy in the hands of some corrupt judge like what happened to Pacman.

Kaname that's a big reach !
He's leaving because why not?
Has nothing to do with corruption , after Kov pat 2 he said he was thinking of going up in weight to fight Anthony Joshua . I think his wife told him honey there's nothing left to prove and you aren't popular in America because u have zero personality so just hang it up ...... Has zero to do with corrupt judges , Andre never needed the judges (maybe only in Kov part 1)

He retired because he knows he got lucky, Kov won the 1st fight, the 2nd was close.

He is a great fighter, but he won't be missed by most fans. His style isn't that fun to watch.

Would have liked to see him fight Beterbiev, he hasn't got a top level guy in the ring, yet, but he has the tools (and power) to beat any 175 fighter.
