Too big of a cash cow for the judges not to give him the D...barring a Lara best career performance this will be close but close won't be enough for the Cuban to come out of Vegas victorious.

Lara got the shaft, you need to see a optometrist in the near future..

which is pretty much exactly how it went. Don't be bitter, boy. You lost your bet.
Me personally I thought it could've been a draw, but too much ducking and dancing from Lara. He fought well, but those middle rounds alvarez took control. You knew "vegas" would lean the promoter's fighter's way

117- 111 ??? One doesn't have to think to hard not know that judge scored the fight before the 1st round ! Also Oscar owns both fighters

Personally I believe Lara won the fight but I took Alvarez W12 because in a close fight of course you go with the home fighter, cash cow, etc. and then when you analyze the judges you see 2 will be fair and one is rogue and practically already in Canelos pocket, makes it a no brainer. Only fear was the Alvarez KO but luckily he cannot cut the ring off and is too flat footed. But Lara has been robbed before as vs. Paul Williams and will prob be robbed again in the future so was not surprised. Who I believe is the better fighter and who I bet are two different things like Algieri vs. Prod. I took Algieri and won but I feel Prod edged out the fight.

I bet on Lara and had Canelo winning 8 rounds to 4. Lara ran all night. 117-111 is only 1 round off from how I scored it. Don't let the commentators influence you. Lara was running and taking body shots in the process. Yeah he mad Canelo miss and look slow footed, but he rarely landed anything decent. He was hardly ever in range for himself to get off, which to me is the definition of running.

Dan Rafael of espn scored it 116-112 Canelo. He said Canelo was the aggressor all night and landed the much harder punches. Doubters can sit down. U are clearly biased because u lost your bet

Canelo Alvarez, Abner Mares, Francisco Vargas, Mauricio Herrera, and Tomoki Kameda scored big wins last night in Las Vegas.
"I came to fight, I didn't come to run here. You don't win by running. You win by hitting. He does have a great jab and he moves around, but you don't win a fight that way. You don't run.
"One hundred percent I won this fight. I was controlling the rounds and, worse, I made him look bad in front of his fans. People know I won this fight.
