Packers you do realize that the books need Floyd to win here. The line being low is indicative of the betting market and apparently the line isn't low enough because the public keeps backing McGregor. The goal for oddsmakers is obviously two way action. Also this is nothing new for Floyd fights. The public always bets against him. I remember we saw similar line movement in the victor Ortiz fight where Floyd opened at around -900 and closed at around -450 and that's probably the worst opponent Floyd had in the previous 10 years. Don't over think this one. Floyd will win with ease. I am going large. Floyd by stoppage. Parlaying Floyd ml with everything.

You completely missed the point.
The point is the reason why the line is so low is because people are already betting McGregor at the current price and some. If they weren't betting McGregor the line would be different to induce two way action.
Next time you should read past the first sentence before responding

You guys are right Floyd's going to throw this because Conor McGregor is the only money fight. It makes perfect sense. Floyd's going to destroy his legacy and his undefeated record that he has protected for 20 years to make more money with Conor McGregor. Perfectly logical.

Exactly. I think it's actually dangerous for Mgregor to be in that ring but I'm sure FM will keep it to a high sparring level unless the kid is throwing heavy shots. TKO from all the jabs to his eyes, too much swelling, fight over.

it's all about the money. you know this shitt is fixed.
mayweather doesn't agree to a fight he knows he can't win. why do you think he dragged out setting up the Pacquaio fight that was way long overdue. i'm certain if Mayweather fought Pacquaio in his prime he would have handed Mayweather his 1st loss.
this whole fight is all a show and can't believe all the suckers that are taking McGregor at +1000, +800 odds, now it's +425. how much is McGregor getting paid for to lose this fight? i would rather try a bet on Will Mayweather win by DQ for +500. or better yet save your money for a real fight like Canelo vs triple G. much fairer odds than this circus show.
i don't really mind that they are having this match if it brings more money to the city. that's the only reason i see this fight existing. Mayweather and the boxing commision were like, "what can we do to entice people to come down to Vegas to see a boxing match?" How bout we do a crossover kind of thing like a Marvel vs DC or Street Fighter vs Tekken but take the biggest moneymaker from the MMA universe vs the biggest moneymaker from Boxing and make a match out of it.
mayweather is going to win fight #50 and retire with even more buttloads of money. i will laugh my behind offf if he actually loses this fight and picked the wrong person to mess with. that will be embarassing. but fat chance i see that happening his ego is too big to let it happen.

Floyd was making 100m+ to fight b level fighters like Guerrero and Ortiz. Broke records with Pacquiao. Made 300m+ vs Canelo. There is a line up from Vegas to Australia with opponents who desperately want to fight him. He will make big money regardless of the opponent. There's undefeated top contenders like Spence and Thurman. Crawford is moving to 147. All are huge fights. He could fight the winner of horn vs Pacquiao. Horn would be the easiest of the easy pay days if he can win again. Or a Canelo rematch. Or a cotto retirement fight. The fight possibilities out there are endless. Conor McGregor is not the only money fight. Jesus.

How do you know this? Why would he put his reputation on the line to lose for more money than he is already set to make and on top of that lose to someone who isn't even a pro boxer in the sense of the word. And fat chance I see a trilogy happening out of this match, no one will care about it after this one is over it's been a joke since the beginning. I was listening to a podcast yesterday and they were speaking with someone who runs a book in vegas, he was saying basically there's going to be value on Floyd because some books have a liability with mcgregor and need some Floyd money to go against the mcgregor money they already took in. I guess the short and sweet is some palaces have to drop the price on Floyd below where it really should be just to attract that money and offset the mcgregor money. This guy also said there's almost zero chance Floyd loses, in his opinion. Of course you have to take it all with a grain of salt considering this guy is a bookie.

my dude no amount of money is worth risking a legacy and history. floyd is too egotisticle and celf centered to lose. he will starve his kids and his grandkids before he loses. its not in his dna. even when he wins there will be more than enough to be made if theres a next time. hell only lose if he collapses on his way to the ring

This fight isn't fixed because it doesn't need to be fixed. Conor will take a respectable loss and enough money to retire should he choose to. Mayweather makes bank and keeps his record intact. The only bet, and still not worth it imo, is Mayweather by decision. I cant stand Mayweather and his style of fighting. I would love to see Conor drop him. I will actually be watching and rooting for that to happen. Betting on a Conor win has slightly better odds than winning the lottery!
