I mentioned the 'laced em up' in my initial response just because its hard to explain why that's a dirty hit to someone that has never skated/played the game .. had nothing to do with their opinion being relevant/irrelevant

Switching subjects, it's fascinating that Victor Hedman of the Lightning missed the final games of the regular season with an "upper body injury." He tried to play 2 games in a woozie state of mind before skipping the final 2.
Come to find out he suffered a severe concussion. Since when is a scrambled brain an "upper body injury"?
The NHL will learn the hard way what the NFL already has. Brain injuries are no joke.
