OK fellow sports gambling losers, lets get a few things straight.
Gamblers that go to casinos and drop an average of 200 bucks a trip or more are fooling themselves that this is good bang for the buck entertainment wise.
Gamblers that call up a local bookie (they don't want your small bets) are fooling themselves that this is a worthwhile activity.
Now sure their are rich people out there who have money to throw around and don't care but most of us aren't like that are we?
Here is what you do to make sports gambling money well spent.
1) Open up an on line account with money you can afford to lose for the season. Let's say you deposit 200 bucks in a 5dimes account, reduced odds are a huge factor in keeping your account going to the end of the season.
2) Limit your max bet to the smallest percentage you can and still make the game fun to watch. 2% of bankroll is ideal but phuck that, if you want to scream at the TV every time a big play happens a 4 buck bet isn't going to do it. Go ahead and make it 20 bucks. Don't make it a 100 bucks, if you insist on betting that amount than up your initial deposit to times your max bet.
3) Bet the sport you love, college foots!, and scream your heart out when a horrible MAC team gets whomped by a doormat big 10 team nobody gives a crap about.
4) Have a great time, drink heavily , study all the betting choices and make your bets accordingly. College foots has a ton of games to pick from. Some years your account will grow and you can cash out after the bowls, most years your account will hit rock bottom and you can find something else to do on a beautiful fall day than cheer on a crappy team in a game you would otherwise not give a damn about.
Beautiful thing this game of football. Demolition chess. Look at what it really costs to bet 20 bucks a game. If you lose exactly 50% of the time this is what it really costs you. You lose a piddling 5% a bet if your book doesn't have reduced odds. That will average out to a stinkin dollar lost per game. You just made a lousy football game between the Mudville Mudcats and the Washington Welfaremoms not only worth watching but yelling about for it's 3 hour length.

Nice post, but I do enjoy the casino trips too. Mostly play video poker in the 97.5% payback range and keno in the 93-95% payback range. Most of my wins go into my football betting account.
Steady flow of commercials and way too many long replay reviews my only complaint.

Thanks for your positive 100% positive comments. There is more detail I can add to maximize your chances of phucking over those greedy stinkin books. If your account grows DONT grow your bets along with them. Stay disciplined. It feels great to pull out a lump of cash come January.

And don't forget you can always record the game you bet on. Nobody is going to tell you the final score between the Mudville Mudcats and Washington WelfareMoms. Phuck those commercials. Fast forward to the next snap of the ball and you can watch every play in 4 games you bet on in 2 hours.
Don't forget to drink quality beer, and lengthy discussions with buds on which games to bet on

lord, Good advice. I know from 17 yrs. of doing this that it is hard to lose betting NCAAF if you do the work. There is so much easy info to help a rookie or a "pseudo" pro along.
In the last 2 yrs. I've won K's of money instead of a few G's. Still feel inclined to bet my usual units instead of betting larger. Go big judiciously.
