How the BetMGM Bonus Code Works
The BetMGM bonus code unlocks two distinct welcome offers depending on your state. In most states including Arizona, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, North Carolina, Ohio, Tennessee, Virginia, and Wyoming, new users can make a $1,500 First Bet. If your initial wager loses, you'll receive your entire stake back as bonus bets, up to $1,500, which expire after seven days.
In Colorado, Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia, the offer differs slightly. Place a $10 minimum wager after depositing at least $10, and if it wins, you'll receive $150 in bonus bets issued as three $50 bonus bets. Both offers require you to use code COVERS at registration to activate your welcome bonus.
For the $1,500 First Bet offer, if you wager more than $50, BetMGM awards five bonus bets, each worth 20% of your qualifying wager. For example, if you wagered $1,500 on a North Carolina vs. TCU matchup or an Astros-Yankees game and lost, you would receive five $300 bonus credits totaling $1,500. Bonus bets must be wagered before any payout becomes available, and only winnings from the wager are returned, not the bonus itself.
