Jake Paul faces the toughest test of his boxing career tonight when he takes on former heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua.

Paul’s bouts have often felt like a media circus, with some accusing the social media star of scripting the fights.

But if you think you know the script for this main event bout, what better way to make some money than by betting a same-game parlay that follows it?

Here’s my Jake Paul vs. Anthony Joshua same-game parlay and free betting picks for Friday, December 19.

Jake Paul vs Anthony Joshua same-game parlay

Anthony Joshua by KO, TKO, or DQ

Over 3.5 rounds

Jake Paul to record the most punches thrown

Jake Paul has built his 13-1 record by beating opponents that were significantly smaller, older, or had zero boxing experience.

The only guy that he didn't have those advantages against was Tommy Fury, who handed him the only loss of his career in 2023. If he couldn't beat the mediocre Fury, there's no way he can come close to beating Anthony Joshua.

Joshua is a two-time former heavyweight champion, boasting a 6-inch reach and 27-pound weight advantage over Paul. I could see Joshua holding back in the early rounds to make sure he doesn't knock out Paul too early. That said, if he doesn't eventually knock out Paul, it's a lose-lose situation.

Everybody and their grandmother is going to assume the fight was rigged, in which case Paul won't get credit, and his ability to keep making these money fights will be compromised.

Likewise, if Joshua can't get the finish despite his career 89% knockout percentage (against legitimate heavyweight competition), then his reputation will be ruined, and he can kiss a future matchup against Tyson Fury goodbye.

Since I think Joshua is going to hold back a bit to make things more exciting, we'll likely see low volume from him. On the other hand, Paul will likely try to push the pace as he tries to find his range and pressure Joshua.

AJ will be far more efficient with his punches, but there's a decent chance that Paul throws more. Paul isn't going to connect on many of those, but expect to see an aggressive version of him in a bout where he has nothing to lose.
