Favorites to win the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year award
Caleb Williams (+170)
Setting a USC school record in 2022 for single-season passing yards, Caleb Williams ran away with the Heisman Trophy in 2022 and followed up with a 30-5 TD-INT ratio in 2023.
To no one's surprise, Williams was the first pick off the board on Thursday, becoming the face of a Chicago Bears offense that boasts an embarrassment of riches at wide receiver — featuring D.J. Moore, Keenan Allen, and Rome Odunze.
Jayden Daniels (+600)
The Washington Commanders finally got their franchise quarterback, selecting LSU standout Jayden Daniels.
A dual-threat force who boasts the best athleticism at the position, Daniels' game-breaking speed will bring a layer to the Washington offense that hasn't been seen since Robert Griffin III.
Marvin Harrison Jr. (+700)
The son of the Colts Hall-of-Famer, Marvin Harrison Jr. is a generational talent at wide receiver who fits hand in glove with the Arizona Cardinals.
Possessing an elite combo of pass-catching and route-running abilities at a 6-foot-4 build, Harrison tore up secondaries during his time at Ohio State, posting two consecutive seasons of 1,200+ yards and 14 TDs receiving.
All things considered, Kyler Murray may have come away as one of the biggest winners from the draft.

Favorites to win the NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year award
Dallas Turner (+430)
A five-star recruit, Dallas Turner lived up to his billing in Tuscaloosa, with the 21-year-old linebacker named first-team All-SEC under Nick Saban.
Posting a Pro Football Focus pass-rush win rate of 19.6% in 2023, Turner will provide immediate reinforcement for the Vikings front seven.
Laiatu Latu (+500)
While Williams dominated at USC, Latu took centerstage in Pasadena, finishing with 10.5 sacks in his lone season with the Bruins.
Although there are legitimate concerns regarding his medical history, Latu's remarkable pass-rushing abilities were tempting enough for Chris Ballard to make the call and beef up the Indianapolis Colts D-line.
Jared Verse (+1,200)
A two-time first-team All-American, Verse wreaked havoc in the trenches for Florida State over the last two years, collecting 18 sacks and 29.5 TFL.
Initially projected to be a Top 10 pick, Verse became somewhat overlooked over the last months. Falling into the arms of the Los Angeles Rams at No. 19, the 23-year-old pass rusher immediately addresses the noticeable hole left by the recently retired Aaron Donald.

NFL Offensive ROY betting trends
• Of the last 20 winners of the NFL OROY Award, 17 were drafted in the first round.
• While quarterback is an extremely difficult position to excel at as a rookie, 10 of the last 20 OROY winners played the position, including four QBs that were selected first overall in the draft.
• Running backs have won four of the last 10 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year Awards. However, in recent years when top rookie RBs have gone head-to-head against top QBs for OROY honors, they've often come out on the losing end. Ezekiel Elliot led the NFL in rushing in 2016 but lost the OROY to his teammate Dak Prescott, while Kyler Murray took home the hardware over Josh Jacobs in 2019.
• No offensive lineman has ever won the award despite recent linemen like Joe Thomas, Matt Kalil, Jack Conklin, Ryan Ramcyzk and Quenton Nelson all making the Pro Bowl in their first year.

NFL Defensive ROY betting trends
• Of the last 34 winners of the NFL DROY Award, an incredible 31 were drafted in the first round. Of the three winners that weren't first-rounders (DeMeco Ryans, Kendrell Bell, and Darius Leonard), all were still selected within the Top-40 picks.
• Seven of the last 18 DROY winners played linebacker. Two others (Von Miller and Shawne Merriman) were listed at LB but would count as edge players in modern NFL defensive schemes. That said, that number is heavily inflated by four straight DROY-winning linebackers from 2006 to 2009. Over the last 10 years, only two LBs have taken home the award.
• Four of the last eight DROY winners played college ball for Ohio State. Three of those (the Bosa brothers and Chase Young) were edge rushers.
